Chapter 1. What This App Does
SeeYouSomeday lets you write a letter, choose a date in the future, and keep it unreadable until that day arrives.
Three things matter most.
First, your letters stay on your iPhone and on the recipient's iPhone. Nothing is ever sent to our servers or to the cloud.
Second, no one can read a letter before its opening date — not the person who receives it, and not you who wrote it. A letter is sealed so that it can only be opened on the recipient's iPhone.
Third, the letter opens on the chosen day. A notification arrives on the recipient's iPhone, and after verifying their identity (Face ID or a 4-digit passcode) they can read it.
Chapter 2. Writing a Letter
Tap "Write a Letter" on the home screen.
Choose who it is for. You can write to yourself, or to family and friends. For someone new, you only need to enter their name — there is no complicated registration step.
Write what you want to say and choose the opening date. The date can be as early as today.
Tap "Seal." A letter to yourself is finished here. A letter to someone else goes straight on to the delivery screen.
